Malaysia’s diversity enables the uniqueness of each culture to be displayed. Traditional dances clearly show the identity of each culture. The Malays are renowned for their graceful and elegant movements, the Chinese known for their symbolic dances (fan, umbrella, masks) while the Indian dances are more like religious rituals. In addition, the Orang Asli (Aborigines) too have their own dances which incorporate natural aspects such as flora and fauna.
