FINANCE DIVISION

The functions of this department are as follows:-

  • Planning, and preparing the department’s annual budget at both national and state levels.
  • Planning and implementing the distribution of financial allocation to the divisions/branches of JKKN (National Department of Art and Culture) and State Department of Art and Culture.
  • Planning, implementing and coordinating department’s allocation.
  • Planning, implementing and coordinating the department’s accounts at national and state level.
  • Managing the procurement, maintenance, management, preservation and disposal of departmental assets (capital assets and inventory) at state and national levels.
  • Preparing and issuing vouchers for all procurement activities of the department.
  • Managing affairs relating to financial meetings conducted by the National Department of Art and Culture, and other state agencies.
  • Preparing reports and responding to comments by the audit department.
  • Acting as secretariat for the department in respect of the Ministry’s Committee Meeting for Financial Management.
  • Preparing, preserving and organizing the storage of the department’s financial documents.
  • Preparing and organizing monthly and annual reports for the department at state and national levels.
