Division Functions & Roles

To plan, implement and co-ordinate management and general administration activities of the Department at headquarters and state levels.

  1. Matters related to meetings of the Department.
  2. Office administration
  3. Office security
  4. Parliamentary matters
  5. To plan, implement and co-ordinate matters related to physical infrastructure development of cultural arts e.g. the construction of State Cultural Park Complexes and District Arts Centres.
  6. To plan, implement and co-ordinate matters related to office transport, i.e. the scheduling of duty roster of drivers and maintenance of office vehicles.
  7. To plan, implement and co-ordinate ICT matters of the department at headquarters and state levels.
  8. To plan, manage, co-ordinate and monitor matters related to office equipments and inventories.
  9. To plan, manage, co-ordinate and monitor equipment requirements  for the department.
  10. To manage and co-ordinate matters related to office security and cleanliness.
  11. To plan, manage, implement and co-ordinate public relations and communication activities.
