Division Functions & Roles
- To plan, implement, co-ordinate and monitor matters related to human resource management (personnel) of the department at headquarters and state levels, covering the following aspects:
- Service records of officers and staff
- Leave records of officers and staff
- Matters related to departmental examination and competency examination for officers and staff
- Matters related to promotion of officers and staff
- Matters related to discipline of officers and staff
- Matters related to retirement of officers and staff
- To plan, implement and co-ordinate matters related to the development and expansion of the department at headquarters and state levels and to prepare the framework and proposal papers on restructuring of the department.
- To act as the secretariat for the department’s Disciplinary Board.
