Division Functions & Roles
- To plan and prepare the department’s annual budget at headquarters and state levels.
- To plan and implement financial allocation to all Divisions/Branches of the department and all state offices.
- To plan, implement and co-ordinate procurement matters of the department.
- To plan, implement and co-ordinate accounting matters of the department at headquarters and state levels.
- To manage the procurement, maintenance, storage and disposal of assets (capital assets and inventories) of the department at headquarters and state levels.
- To prepare and issue payment vouchers for department’s procurement.
- To manage matters related to financial meetings of the department, Ministry and other government agencies.
- To prepare financial reports and answer queries from Audit Department.
- To act as secretariat for Financial Management Committee Meetings of the department.
- To prepare, store and co-ordinate the storage of financial documents of the department.
- To prepare and co-ordinate monthly and annual financial reports for the department at headquarters and state levels.
